This week’s retail banking news include HSBC Armenia’s new branch in Yerevan, Credit Suisse’s new senior appointments, and BofA’s new travel credit cards.

HSBC Armenia opens new branch in Yerevan
HSBC Armenia has launched its new HSBC Status branch in Yerevan, with the branch available to customers who place savings or investments of at least AMD20 million ($51,000) with the bank. Status customers are automatically granted World Black Edition Master Cards and free Concierge services.

Credit Suisse adds senior bankers to Greater China Private Banking Team
Credit Suisse has announced the addition of senior bankers Eddy Sze and Richard Wong to its Greater China Private Banking Team. Sze joins Credit Suisse as managing director and market leader for Greater China, while Wong joins as director and team leader for Greater China, reporting to Sze.

BofA launches new travel credit cards
Bank of America has launched three new travel credit cards – BankAmericard Travel Rewards, Bank Americard Privileges with Travel Rewards and WorldPoints Travel Rewards for Business. Designed to meet consumers’ need for flexibility using points for travel-related expenses, all three cards feature an absence of foreign transaction fees, no expiry date on points earned, no blackout dates, and 24-hour travel and emergency assistance.
