Launched mobile application that offers seamless digital experience

Standard Chartered Bank (HK) enhanced their digital features in their mobile application. Since the launch, the bank continues to provide enriched customer experiences and enhance existing features in order to offer a seamless digital experience to their customers. In addition, the bank focuses to deliver seamless omni-channel services across digital and staff-assisted touch points, and customers can choose to seek assistance and interact with our relationship managers and agents seamlessly from the SC Mobile app. With the enhanced digital functions and new servicing tools on the mobile application, customers can seek the required information and services more easily in their preferred way.

Introduced keyboard banking, mobile ATM withdrawal and other convenience enhancing features 

Standard Chartered Bank (HK) included new functions in their mobile application such as keyboard banking feature “SC Keyboard”, customers can enjoy the convenience of sending payments and checking balances from the mobile keyboard. In addition, the bank introduced the card less cash withdrawal service “QR Cash” which allows customers to pre-set cash withdrawal instructions through their mobile application, they can scan the QR code on any Standard Chartered ATM in Hong Kong to get cash instantly without using any card.

Recorded significant growth in mobile active clients.

Standard Chartered Bank (HK) recorded strong growth in their mobile active clients. The bank continues to introduce new features including instant approval and disbursement for credit card and lending products, personalised spending categorisation on virtual assistant Stacy and increased scope of products to be applied for via SC Mobile. With these enhanced functions, customers can enjoy immediately the products and services they need, and have greater freedom purchasing the products in their preferred ways.
