Best Social Media Engagement Initiative - Maybank

The winning bank launched a social media campaign called #SaveUp that encourages people in Malaysia to save money through banks even in the midst of the pandemic. The bank boosted its consumers engagement by launching various social media interactive content including Facebook posts, interactive Instagram stories, Tik Tok challenge, making WhatsApp stickers, and a live #SaveUp webinar. It recorded almost 15,000 online registrations for the campaign. Over 6,500 new online accounts were opened during the campaign period in October to December 2021.
