Best Financial Inclusion Initiative goes to RCBC’s ATMGo, and MoneyBela Barangay Banking
The winning bank uses mobile point-of-sale devices to provide financial services as a last-mile solution. It launched an initiative that combines physical and digital banking services to serve geographically distant, disadvantaged, and conflict areas in the Philippines.
The service and initiatives generated 48% rise in revenue growth, 42% expansion in merchants, 39% increase in transaction volume equivalent to 3.9 million transactions in their mobile application and 31% surge on transaction value corresponding to $182 million.
