Best Digital Trade Finance Platform Initiative - OCBC Bank

The winning bank has showcased digital trade finance capabilities through its platform for the past three years. In 2021, it successfully commercialise its achievements through focusing in industry partnerships, data analytics, digitalisation and simplification of customer journeys. 

Initiatives such as end-to-end digitisation of Bankers’ Guarantee, analysing supplier’s transaction data from procurement platform to eliminate need of paper documents resulted in close to 60% of the bank’s customers send in trade applications through the platform. The platform now has more than 85% digitally-enabled customer base.

In recognition of these achievements and successful implementation of OCBC Velocity, the Best Digital Trade Finance Platform Initiative, goes to OCBC Bank.
