Corporate Tele Sales Executive, Manager
Training Sales Executive
Delegate Sales Executive |
A corporate sales executive with The Asian Banker is trained to think broadly and widely in
order to design programmes to meet a wide range of client needs. We often design products or programmes that incorporate online, community, research, small group meetings or conferences and advertising elements, depending on whether the client needs to build its brand or its client engagement in the industry. Our products include sponsorships, advertising, event programmes, exhibitions, subscriptions or client communication programmes.
Requirements:
Candidates should meet the following criteria:

Minimum 0.5-5yrs similar or either Telesales, Training, Delegate, advertising and |
| • |
sponsorship sales experience is a must /or preferred. |
| • |
GCE "A" Level or entry level poly and college level Singaporeans |
| • |
Good academic qualification from a reputable university or with relevant sales experience for foreign candidates |
| • |
The candidate should have strong and proven record either in Telesales, Training, Delegate sales and advertising sales and editorial sponsorship for trade events and publication is preferred |
| • |
Candidates must be able to do presentation to our corporate clients with professional appearance/knowledge, Those with ex- products knowledge on corporate consulting, telesales, delegate and advertising, sponsorship sales are preferred. |

Able to understand and formulate business concepts of selling value-added proposition skills and apply lateral thinking to designing product solutions to meet client needs; |
| • |
Strong telephone calling skills, research skills, coupled with good working English and one other languages; |
| • |
Sales-driven, highly resourceful and committed individual who thrives in a challenging and target-driven environment |
| • |
Ability to garner market feedback through tele-sales. |
| • |
Ability to formulate, execute and co-ordinate sales projects independently. |
Required language(s): English.

This job entails meeting with clients in China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, closing sales for research, publications and conference products. Clients include banks as well as technology companies that sell to banks. Must meet sales targets.

| Research Analysts/ Journalists/Writers (Beijing based) |
|
This job entails developing an understanding of current issues in the banking industry (prior knowledge not required but must be acquired on-the-job), meeting and conducting interviews with senior bankers in China, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, getting to know them over time, writing incisive articles, contributing to research data collection and participating in a variety of research and consulting projects. Candidates who have strong consulting background may be required to make presentations to clients, including the banks and regulators.

University graduates or higher, preferably from a good foreign university. |

Preferably with some experience in research or writing or show flair for this industry. |

Strong writing skills in English is a must for all candidates.
(For non-Chinese candidates, ability to speak in Chinese is desirable but not a pre-requisite. But candidates must demonstrate experience in interacting with Chinese executives well). |

| Production Editor (Singapore based) |
The production editor is responsible for the English language and production quality of all print and online content produced by the Company. The responsibilities include overseeing all phases of the production process, ensuring that publications are produced in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining high quality standards. The candidate will be hands-on and manage the copyediting, proofreading, page layout phases and print processes. The candidate will work with the managing editor or the head of research to commission and manage external suppliers and freelancers. The candidate will also work with a team to develop print and online content.
We are open to both entry level and highly experienced candidates. Knowledge of banking is not required, but good business writing instincts are important. We provide good basic training for entry level professionals, a stable work environment for the more experienced and an opportunity to grow with us in the fast changing publishing world.
