UOB recognised as Most Sustainable Transaction Bank in Asia Pacific

This bank has advanced its customers' sustainability efforts by implementing over 50 certifications under its Green and Sustainable Trade Finance framework. Followed by the launch of green term deposits, it introduced Sustainable Current Account, where balances are segregated and backed by green assets to align with customers' ESG goals. With initiatives tied to UN Sustainable Development Goals, it offered preferred pricing to encourage enhanced sustainability practices across customers’ supply chains.

For simplifying sustainability financing across various sectors, the bank saw its approved limits and drawdowns for Green and Sustainable Trade Finance grow by 2.7 and almost 4 times year-on-year, respectively. For these achievements, United Overseas Bank is recognised as the Most Sustainable Transaction Bank in Asia Pacific.
