The winning bank launched a new small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) proposition in Bahrain to provide access to a full range of digital services to SME and corporate clients. It introduced a digital portal to connect different SME businesses through special offerings and promotions and to help new companies benefit from discounted services to build their digital fronts. As a result, the bank grew its SME customers by 19.3%, and the size of SME deposit balances rose by 10.8% in 2021.
