1 March 2023, Hong Kong SAR – Vantage Capital Markets (VCM) Investment Banking Division (IBD) announces today three senior leadership appointments, effective immediately:
Federico Bazzoni, CEO of Investment Banking at VCM, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lisa, Rosanna and Yufei to their new roles at VCM - IBD. Their impressive reputation, deal making track records and deep expertise across a wide range of investment banking businesses will surely bolster our commercial momentum as a global investment banking platform.”
Lisa Lim is a well regarded and experienced investment banker with more than 15 years of industry experience, leading Hong Kong and global listings and other equity-related financing instruments in the primary and secondary markets. Lim was most recently Managing Director, Co-head Equity Capital Markets at BOC International Holdings.
Rosanna Li has held regional senior management roles in a career spanning more than 15 years in Asia and emerging markets, focusing on China transactions. Prior to joining VCM IBD, Li held senior roles at China Tonghai Financial, BNP Paribas and Macquarie Capital.
Yufei Wang has more than a decade of equity capital markets experience in Hong Kong and mainland China. Before joining VCM IBD, Wang worked at Morgan Stanley, Bank of China International, JPMorgan and UBS Securities in Hong Kong and Beijing offices, participating in a variety of Hong Kong IPOs and A-share ECM deals.
These appointments follow the launch of VCM’s investment banking division in October last year. Against a backdrop of headcount cuts at several investment banks across Asia and globally, VCM IBD continues to expand its headquarter team and attract top-tier talent.
Bazzoni said: “We’ve added 15 new members to the team since we formed our investment banking platform and expect to grow further as our strong pipeline of active deals continues to develop. I’m thrilled with our recent growth and have every confidence that with this team we will offer the right funding solutions and services to high-growth mid-cap ventures globally.”
