Hanoi, 28 September 2026 – Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) today announced that it will hold its Overseas Talent Roadshow 2026 in Singapore on 23-24 October and London on 13-14 November, building on the success of previous editions. These events will connect overseas Vietnamese and international talent with Techcombank’s leadership team to explore opportunities to build their careers with one of Vietnam’s leading financial institutions and help to power Vietnam’s next era of growth. To be held under the theme “Enabling Vietnam’s Next Era – Building the Platforms that Power Growth, Capital and Wealth”, the roadshows will engage professionals currently working at banks, financial institutions, investment fund, single and multi-family offices, multinational asset management organisations and other financial institutions. The programme will focus on three priority areas for talent recruitment: Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Private Banking. Each is central to Techcombank’s current five-year strategy and supports Vietnam’s evolving needs for capital mobilisation and allocation, financial market development and asset management. The events in Singapore and London will give participants the opportunity to engage directly with Techcombank’s CEO, Jens Lottner, and other members of the Bank’s senior leadership team. They will hear firsthand how Techcombank plans to capture opportunities arising from Vietnam’s fast-growing economy, strengthen its corporate, investment and private banking capabilities, and learn about career opportunities across the Bank and its ecosystem businesses. The programme also creates opportunities to connect with international professionals currently working at Techcombank, and hear firsthand about their experience joining the Bank, developing their careers and settling into life in Vietnam with their families. Nguyen Le Thao Nguyen, Chief People Officer, Techcombank, said: “Vietnam is entering a phase of development that requires increasingly specialised capabilities in capital arrangement, capital markets and asset management. To meet these requirements, Techcombank remains steadfast in investing in people and capabilities as core foundations for long-term growth. We seek to connect with professionals who can translate international experience into capabilities and solutions relevant to the needs of the Vietnamese market, while contributing to building meaningful financial platforms for Vietnam’s next era of growth.” Financial capabilities for Vietnam’s next phase of growth The Overseas Talent Roadshow 2026 takes place as Vietnam accelerates financial market reforms designed to enhance its ability to mobilise and allocate capital to support long-term economic growth. Delivering on this ambition requires not only capital but professionals with the expertise to mobilise capital, structure financing solutions, and allocate investment towards growth opportunities across the economy. It is against this backdrop that Techcombank is building its talent capabilities across corporate, investment and private banking under the strategy “Three Platforms – One Capital Journey: Growth – Capital – Wealth”. This strategy brings together the mobilization of capital that businesses need to grow, the allocation of capital to suitable investment opportunities, and the management of the wealth this activity creates. Within Corporate Banking, Techcombank continues to develop its capabilities in arranging and distributing capital for businesses and key projects, particularly through the Originate-to-Distribute (O2D) model. This is an important capability that connects the capital needs of businesses and the economy with domestic and international resources, thereby improving the efficiency of capital allocation in the market. Within Investment Banking, Techcombank and Techcom Securities (TCBS) continue to expand their capabilities in capital markets and investment, contributing to greater depth, efficiency and capital mobilisation capacity in Vietnam’s financial market. This is also an area expected to play an increasingly important role in expanding medium and long-term capital mobilisation channels for the economy. Meanwhile, in Private Banking, Techcombank is focusing on developing comprehensive asset management solutions to meet the increasingly diverse needs of HNW and UHNW clients. The objective is to build capabilities that enable the Bank to accompany clients in managing, growing, protecting and transferring their assets across generations. Where global talent can create impact at scale For many international professionals, a worthwhile career opportunity is measured not only by position or organisational scale, but also by the ability to participate in addressing significant challenges and create meaningful impact. This is also the foundation of Techcombank’s approach to engaging and attracting talent in global markets. After more than three decades of development, Techcombank has become one of Vietnam’s leading joint stock commercial banks, sitting at the core of an integrated financial ecosystem that serves customers’ needs across banking, investments, wealth management and insurance. As of the end of June 2026, Techcombank’s total assets reached more than VND 1.27 quadrillion ($48.9 billion), while profit before tax for the first six months of the year reached VND 18.5 trillion ($712 million). The bank currently serves more than 18 million customers. In addition, TCBS has developed into an important institution in the capital market; wealth management and insurance businesses continue to expand through Techcom Life and Techcom Insurance. This ecosystem creates an increasingly broad scope of activities, from serving businesses’ capital needs to investment, asset management and financial protection. Alongside its scale, Techcombank is also one of the financial institutions pioneering innovation in Vietnam’s banking industry through technology- and data-driven financial solutions, contributing to transforming the experience of tens of millions of customers over the years. Alongside business growth, Techcombank has invested approximately $500 million in digitalisation, data and talent over the past five years and expects to continue investing USD 1 billion over the next five years. These three pillars will continue to serve as the Bank’s strategic foundations in the next phase, with AI as a critical capability to enhance operational efficiency, decision-making quality and customer experience. Alongside career opportunities, Techcombank continues to invest in the working environment and support policies for international professionals and their families, including housing, healthcare and education, to create favourable conditions for them to build long-term careers in Vietnam. Proactively attracting overseas Vietnamese professionals and international talent is also aligned with Vietnam’s direction to develop high-quality human resources. The National Strategy on attracting and utilising Talents to 2030, with a vision to 2050, identifies the attraction and effective utilisation of talent both domestically and internationally as one of the important tasks contributing to industrialisation, modernisation and international integration. The Overseas Talent Roadshow has been organised by Techcombank since 2022 and has travelled to major financial and technology hubs including Singapore, London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, Hong Kong and Sydney. Over the years, the programme has gradually become a bridge connecting Techcombank with the community of overseas Vietnamese professionals and leaders, as well as international professionals interested in career development opportunities in Vietnam.
