NVPC and Ant International help charities elevate digital fundraising

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) announced a new partnership with Ant International, a global digital payment and financial services leader headquartered in Singapore.

This collaboration aims to enhance the digital fundraising capabilities of charity partners on NVPC's giving.sg platform. By leveraging Ant International’s extensive expertise in digital financial services, including Alipay+, its cross-border mobile payment and marketing platform, and ANEXT Bank, a MAS-regulated digital wholesale bank, NVPC seeks to help non-profit organisations develop critical capabilities. This initiative is part of NVPC’s broader effort to utilise the expertise of its stakeholders, including members of the Company of Good network such as Ant International, to help them meet evolving demands in the giving landscape.

Ant International believes in open collaboration with organisations like NVPC to equip people with the right knowledge and digital tools to promote inclusion and growth.

This initiative, which consists of a series of intimate workshops, will involve around 15 charities. Through collaborations like this, NVPC is actively working to elevate giving capabilities and standards across different sectors, in support of a City of Good vision.

The workshops are designed to intimately engage a select group of charities to fundraise more effectively on giving.sg, with around 15 participating charities expected. Each session will bring fresh perspectives and encourage innovative, out-of-the-box thinking to enhance participants' digital fundraising strategies.

This collaboration is part of NVPC's ongoing efforts to bring together our different stakeholders, such as businesses on the COG network and charities on giving.sg, where critical capabilities and skills can be strengthened to help forge a stronger giving culture in Singapore.

This workshop series aims to support charities in their digital transformation journeys, enabling them to effectively meet the evolving needs of their donors and stakeholders online. By boosting digital fundraising capabilities, NVPC and Ant International aim to foster a more robust philanthropic ecosystem in Singapore.
