Evercore Wealth Management appoints Debora Carswell as Managing Director

Evercore Wealth Management, LLC announced the appointment of Debora Carswell as a Managing Director and Financial Advisor in the firm's Florida office.

Ms. Carswell previously led the private wealth management practice of SunTrust Bank in Florida. She joined SunTrust in 1985 and has worked with high net worth families throughout the Southeast.

"We are pleased to have someone of Debbie's caliber join our growing Florida team," said Evercore Wealth Management CEO Jeff Maurer. "Her experience in helping families successfully navigate financial decision-making further strengthens our capabilities in the Southeast."

Ms. Carswell will work directly with families in the region, supported by the Evercore Wealth Management national strategic wealth planning group. Additionally, she will lead the firm's Wise Women financial education program in the Southeast.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Florida State University in Tallahassee and completed a two-year study program at the Florida Graduate Trust & Wealth Management School. She holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CFTA) designation.

Ms. Carswell is based in Orlando and is a board member of the American Red Cross of Greater Orlando.
