FundPark, a technology company pioneering Scale-Up as a Service to support the growth of digital entrepreneurs, today announced its inaugural funding partnership with Citi through an asset-backed securitisation (ABS) facility. The transaction expands FundPark's ABS funding capacity to more than $1.25 billion and adds Citi to its growing network of institutional funding partners supporting small and medium-sized businesses in global trade and digital commerce. Under the arrangement, Citi has committed up to $250 million as senior lender in such ABS facility. With Citi joining its existing funding partners, FundPark has built a diversified institutional funding base supported by three leading global financial institutions, strengthening access to capital for SMEs. The partnership reflects growing recognition of FundPark's proprietary credit assessment capabilities and technology-enabled approach to supporting businesses participating in cross-border trade and the digital economy. Anson Suen, chief executive officer and co-founder, FundPark, said, "Surpassing $1.25 billion in ABS funding capacity and welcoming Citi as a funding partner marks another important milestone for FundPark. More importantly, it demonstrates what is possible when innovative technology and institutional capital come together to better serve the evolving needs of digital entrepreneurs. As businesses increasingly operate across digital and cross-border channels, growth requires more than funding alone. Entrepreneurs need the right combination of timely capital, data-driven insights and ecosystem support to scale successfully. Together with Citi, we look forward to helping more businesses scale across markets and grow with confidence." Ting Guo, managing director, head of asset-backed financing & securitisation Asia (exc. India) at Citi, said, "As global trade increasingly digitises, scalable and innovative financing solutions are critical to sustaining the momentum of cross-border eCommerce. We are pleased to support FundPark through this asset-backed securitisation facility, which leverages our global network and structured finance expertise to empower digital merchants. By bridging the funding gap for high-growth SMEs, we are not only supporting FundPark's strategic expansion but also unlocking vital growth opportunities for cross-border eCommerce merchants across the region." The announcement also reflects growing institutional confidence in FundPark's technology-enabled platform and proprietary credit model. Over the past decade, FundPark has supported more than 40,000 SMEs, helping entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of cross-border commerce through a combination of AI-enabled dynamic funding, predictive insights and growth support, while facilitating over $9 billion in funding for businesses globally. As commerce continues to become more digital, data-driven and global, businesses need trusted partners that can support their growth across markets. The partnership reflects a shared vision of enabling digital businesses to thrive in a rapidly evolving business environment. By combining Citi's institutional expertise with FundPark's Scale-Up as a Service model, the partnership will empower the next generation of globally connected businesses to unlock growth opportunities and scale with confidence.
