Citi announced that Benny Aroeman has joined Citi as head of markets for Indonesia on 27 May 2025. He reports to Sue Lee, head of markets for Asia South and Batara Sianturi, Citi country officer and banking head for Indonesia. Aroeman brings over 30 years of experience in delivering derivatives, structured products and risk management solutions to Indonesian clients. He was most recently at ANZ Indonesia where he was head of markets for Indonesia since 2019. Prior to this, he led the sales team for treasury and markets at DBS Indonesia for 12 years. He also served at HSBC Indonesia and Deutsche Indonesia. He started his career in Garuda Indonesia, Brussels in Belgium.
