Citi appoints Gunjan Kalra as Asia Pacific head of Citi Commercial Bank

Citi has appointed Gunjan Kalra as head of Asia Pacific at Citi Commercial Bank, effective 1 September 2023.

In her new role, Gunjan will report to Tasnim Ghiawadwala, global head of Citi Commercial Bank, and Peter Babej, CEO of Citi Asia Pacific.

Gunjan joins Citi Commercial Bank from markets business, where she was most recently Asia Pacific head of corporate sales and solutions. In this role, Gunjan was responsible for the delivery of markets products to Citi’s corporate and commercial banking clients in the region.

Tasnim Ghiawadwala, global head of Citi Commercial Bank, said: “I am pleased to welcome Gunjan as our new Asia Pacific head for the commercial bank.
