Best Retail Bank in Sri Lanka is Hatton National Bank

The winning bank has responded to changing customer behaviour by embracing digital technology to capitalise on new opportunities in retail sector, achieving over 60% year-on-year growth in total digital transactions to 32.5 Mn, during the year.

The bank has strategically focused on encouraging customers to adopt digital transformation by recognising its benefits in the retail market, as well as partnering with Lime, a cutting-edge fin-tech solution designed to streamline customer onboarding and know-your-customer processes.

The Bank continued to maintain the market leadership position in the leasing segment among the leading private licensed commercial banks and recorded the highest absolute growth in gold loans and credit card segments, while recording the highest deposit growth in the industry of Rs 172 Bn, during the year.
