The Thai Bankers’ Association (TBA) was founded in 1967 by a group of Thai commercial banks to promote joint efforts amongst member banks in driving Thai economic growth, stability and the development of Thai financial markets. It promotes regional connectivity, especially in the ASEAN region. TBA represents its members to negotiate joint positions of member banks and to collaborate with the government and the private sectors. TBA is one of the 3 main organisations in the Joint Standing Committee in Commerce Industry and Banking (JSCCIB), and is also a founding member of the ASEAN Bankers’ Association.
