Beyond Borders – Financing Growth in a Fragmented World

Back to Agenda

Reimagining Finance Beyond Borders

Cross-border finance is being reshaped by geopolitical realignment, regional trade corridors and divergent regulatory regimes. As payment systems, data rules and settlement infrastructures fragment, financial institutions face growing pressure to move money, manage liquidity and support trade across markets that no longer operate on common standards.

Beyond Borders explores how financial infrastructure is being rebuilt across regions. Sessions examine cross-border instant payments and ISO 20022, data localisation and global compliance, wholesale CBDCs and tokenised deposits, digital identity and trust frameworks, and the future of interoperable payment and settlement networks. The focus is on reconnecting systems, restoring efficiency and enabling secure, scalable growth in a more fragmented global economy.
