Martin Buchholz
Head, Digital Consumer Banking, CIMB Thai Bank

Martin Buchholz has spent most of his career in the financial and IT services in Asia Pacific (APAC) pioneering several waves of digital transformations. Buchholz joined CIMB in January 2018 as programme manager at CIMB FinTech, delivering solutions across the CIMB Group. He became the head of CIMB Thai digital consumer banking in late 2018, responsible for digital initiatives starting from consumer banking. His career began in the development labs of IBM in the US and UK. After moving to APAC, he became the vice-president and chief of staff at Citibank APAC corporate bank and later the chief technology officer (CTO) of first-e, Asia’s first internet-only bank and founder of internet startup Book-n-go.com during the internet boom. He went on to be an advisor and managing consultant in the financial services and telco industries with major engagements with banks in Singapore and Thailand, as well as leading the technical build of the Continuous Link Settlement (CLS) utility for the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Uyen
Executive Vice President, Digital Banking and Data Analytics, Asia Commercial Bank

Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Uyen is the executive vice president of Asia Commercial Bank (ACB). She is in charge of digital banking and data analytics as well as investment and investor relations. She joined ACB in April 2015 as investment director and was appointed executive vice president in January 2018. She also serves as board member of ACB Securities Company (ACBS) and chairs ACBS' investment committee. Uyen has over 20 years of experience in investment and banking. She started her career in 2001 as business consultancy specialist at Arthur Andersen, which later merged with KPMG Vietnam. In 2004, she moved into private equity and held management positions at Mekong Capital (2004-2006) and Dragon Capital (2008-2014).

Pham Chau Loan
Deputy Head of Digital Channel and Partnership Development Department, Vietcombank

Ms. Pham Chau Loan is currently Deputy Head of Digital Channel and Partnership Development Department at Vietcombank. She has 18 years of experience in banking and finance sector. She has participated in a number of big and fundamental projects to transform the bank's technology platform and system such as core banking upgrade project, digital platform development and transformation projects for individual as well as institutional customers.

Foo Boon Ping

Foo Boon Ping manages The Asian Banker’s publishing and research business in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa. He regularly engages the financial services community on transformational issues shaping the industry; speaking at and chairing many of the Asian Banker’s as well as partners’ events. He has more than 25 years' experience in strategic brand management, corporate & marketing communication and research & consulting, covering: retail, corporate and transaction banking, financial markets, risk management, compliance and financial technology. He had previously served in senior management positions at UOB and DBS Bank. He was also formerly a senior consulting manager at Ernst and Young and started his career as a financial journalist.

Christian Kapfer
Director of Research, TABInsights

Christian Kapfer is research director, managing TABInsights, leading research and consulting engagement with top-tier financial institutions in benchmarking business and strategic capabilities across leadership, commercial, retail and transaction finance, financial markets, risk management, financial technology, and wealth management. Kapfer joined The Asian Banker in 2014 and was responsible for starting many of the company's research programmes, such as Excellence in Retail Financial Services, AB 500 Strongest Banks Ranking and Working Groups.

Dr Nongnuch Tantisantiwong

SVP, Head of Enterprise Risk and Infrastructure, Risk Management,
CIMB Thai Bank

Nongnuch has 20 years of experience in modelling, data management, and portfolio analytics. She was Head of Financial System Policy Development at Thailand's Ministry of Finance before moving to the UK as a university lecturer and Program Director of MSc Risk and Finance.

After 12 years in the UK, she returned to Thailand to join Krungthai Bank as SVP Corporate Strategy and later became Head of Credit Risk Modelling & Analytics. She also served as a visiting academic for School of Electronics and Computer Science at the University of Southampton (UK).

Currently, she is SVP Head of Enterprise Risk and Infrastructure at CIMB Thai Bank, overseeing credit risk modelling, data management, system implementation, climate risk management, and monitoring risk appetite.

Since 2007, Nongnuch has received multiple national and international research grants and published around 20 articles on Banking, Investment, Sustainability, Risk Modelling, and Machine Learning. Her recent paper, 'ESG Risk Exposures of Mutual Funds,' will be published in the Journal of Asset Management.
