Where is growth shifting as currency, trade and liquidity risk rise?
Indonesia's transaction banking market is entering a new phase of growth. Expanding regional trade connectivity, evolving corporate treasury priorities, payment ecosystem reforms, and rising expectations for banking experiences are reshaping how banks compete for corporate relationships. Initiatives such as Bank Indonesia's Payment System Blueprint 2030, emerging payment industry regulations, OJK's requirements on IT implementation, and the Indonesia-Singapore Local Currency Transaction framework are creating new opportunities around payments, cross-border banking, liquidity management, and client engagement. The opportunity extends well beyond transaction processing. Corporate clients increasingly expect greater cash visibility, faster reconciliation, integrated trade and foreign exchange services, stronger cross-border support, and intuitive digital channels that simplify day-to-day treasury operations.
As corporates diversify supply chains, expand regionally, and reassess banking relationships, transaction banking leaders must determine where to invest, how to differentiate, and which capabilities will deliver the greatest value for clients and the bank.
The Indonesia Transaction Banking Forum brings together Heads of Transaction Banking, Corporate Banking leaders, policymakers and banking technology leaders to discuss where transaction banking growth is shifting, how corporate client expectations are evolving, and what will define leadership in 2027. Drawing on industry perspectives, Coalition Greenwich research, and peer discussions, the forum will explore how banks are responding to changing client needs, strengthening digital engagement, leveraging data and AI to enhance client experience, and modernizing capabilities to drive growth, deepen relationships, and improve competitiveness.
At its core, the forum will address a central question:
What strategic investments will best position transaction banks to grow wallet share, strengthen client relationships, and deliver measurable business value over the next three years?

As transaction banks respond to growing client expectations, competitive pressures, and evolving technology landscapes, they face critical decisions about modernization, cloud adoption, platform upgrade and ecosystem connectivity. At the same time, banks must strengthen operational resilience, security, and regulatory compliance while accelerating innovation and speed to market

Beyond the technology and the strategy, modernisation programmes often slow on obstacles banks rarely name in public: talent gaps, legacy dependencies, budget discipline or internal governance friction. This open floor asks the room to name the specific constraint that slowed their own institution down this year.
