National Bank of Oman recognised for uplifting customer experience as it wins Best Wealth Management Business (for Affluent Segment) in Oman at The Asian Banker Oman Awards 2019

Dubai, November 7th 2019- National Bank of Oman was awarded the Best Wealth Management Business (for Affluent Segment) in Oman at The Asian Banker Oman Awards 2019. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the Middle East and Africa Risk Management and Transaction Awards as well as the International Finance Dialogue.

The Asian Banker Oman Awards is focused on efforts at the local level that may be unique or specific to the market. . Taking on an audit-based approach from 2019, the recipients of these awards were determined through a combination of surveys, interviews and field research by The Asian Banker’s research staff.

The bank recorded a significant performance in their wealth management business driven by new initiatives.

National bank of Oman recorded a significant performance in the wealth management business, with market share of 14% in AUM. The Bank was able to grow their affluent clients by 26%. In addition, National Bank of Oman is determined to improve the business by  implementing Wealth Management solution which is a fully-fledged technology solution encompassing all the functionalities of the Wealth Management business.

Developing digital capacities and technology solutions enabled the bank to improve their overall business.

In line with National bank of Oman’s goal to improve their wealth management business, the bank continues to upgrade their Wealth Management system, These will include developing digital capabilities, client suitability, risk profiling, improved CRM and advisory modules, ability to offer additional product solutions based on client needs, build asset allocation models. The upgrades will be on both a strategic and tactical levels.

As a result, the bank continues its efforts to respond their client’s needs and introduce new solutions.

National Bank of Oman continues to roll out new investment products and solutions for their clients. The bank will remain focused on the key client needs such as; liquidity, income, diversification and goal-based saving.
