Hanoi, 9 April 2020 – BIDV received Best Merchant Service at The Asian Banker Vietnam Awards 2020.

BIDV provides a variety of products and value-added services to meet the demands of multi-channel payments

The bank developed a variety of products in order to meet the demands of multi-channel payments which includes direct payment, card payment and QR payment. The accumulated volume of customer-QR payments has increased significantly in 2019. And the accumulated number of merchants of BIDV ecommerce also increased significantly by 1100% in just6 months.

The bank provides solutions on the basis of optimising costs for enterprises

BIDV provides solutions on the basis of optimising costs for enterprises such as: accelerating payment speed and data query through the connection of the system between bank and merchant, supporting the control and reporting of transaction results which are updated instantly, and intuitive and simple product display. It provides solutions like combined payment acceptance and business financing that help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in collecting and paying money automatically.

BIDV has outperformed its previous version in its payment ecosystem for SMEs by deploying customer-presented QR payment, e-merchant service, non-cash hospital fee payment, and cash flow management on mPos in 2019. BIDV also invested in research to develop solutions on the basis of digitising and maximising digital technology which made the bank more competitive in the Vietnam market, thereby attracting more potential clients.
