Analytics show Cyber Monday sales up 27%
Thanks to analytics predictions, retailers rolled out online sales and promotions earlier this year resulting in $1.5b in sales, a large boost over last year’s.

Several years ago with the increase in online sales came about the phenomenon known as Cyber Monday, when consumers waited till after the Thanksgiving holidays to snap up items on sale right from the comfort of their homes or offices. This year, retailers now savvy to the trend have started sales early, extending sales on everything from electronics to fashion wear, to cover the entire weekend.
