Asia Pacific banks explore interactional services to drive retail banking efforts
Banks are looking to enhance analytical capabilities and improve customer relationships in a more digitally-enabled environment.

In this year’s Excellence in Retail Financial Services Programme, the retail banking performance of most banks, in particular those in mature markets, has equalled if not surpassed pre-crisis figures. Though the picture does not point to an even recovery across regions, countries and banks, executives are now applying their minds to the future of retail financial services. Regulatory tightening in consumer finance and mortgages has, however, materially impacted entire industries and severely curtailed growth in a number of businesses.
