Senior Researcher(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic business research and/or consulting experience, ideally focusing on banking, financial services, international trade or a related industry
  • Researching, writing and publishing a series of reports on a topic-by-topic basis that would also contribute to a benchmarking library on the subject matter
  • Able to contribute to new, commercially-viable research topics and project origination and ensure all research projects undertaken are delivered in a timely manner and of top quality
  • Contributing articles to the Company’s flagship publication
  • Researching and presenting at the Company’s own or client’s briefings/events
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and professional interaction with the industry at all levels, through formal presentation sessions and social settings (where required) in order to understand the industry
  • Assist in the formulation of the Company’s conference agenda (where required) and
  • Contributing to the reputation of the company and its research business through all forms of client contact, speaking engagements, press interviews and general availability for marketing and related activities

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in English (Speaking and Writing)
  • Background in business strategy, benchmarking, and related research work is preferred
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, including a sound understanding of developing and executing research methodologies (essential)
  • Excellent organizing project management and multi-tasking capabilities
  • A good bachelor degree in a related field (Masters Preferred)

Senior Sales & Business Development Manager(Singapore)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve personal sales commitments and targets.
  • Selling the full range of intelligence based products and business propositions to clients of the Company within assigned budgets and sales targets.
  • Developing a sales capability by building networks and relationships with third parties and other intermediaries and potential clients of the Company.
  • Promoting the products, services, activities and general reputation of the Company in such a way that will build goodwill in the marketplace and result in strong sales revenue.
  • Initiate and execute marketing and sales program that will result in successful sales and revenue contributing to the company’s bottom-line.
  • Manage a regional sales team such that it is functioning to the optimum in generating their individual sales targets.  This requires managing the sales pipelines very judiciously, ensuring that products are clearly defined and understood and that these products are clearly being monitored in the pipeline.
  • Plan and manage the output by identifying products and clients to target.
  • Grow the sales team and sales figures to reflect the growth of the Company in new geographies as well as into new product lines.

Research Analyst(Manila)

Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to in-house senior research and editorial staff in different projects underway
  • Initiating and outlining research and editorial ideas
  • Collating data through interviews, online research as well as contact with central banks, leading financial institutions and service providers
  • Writing topical research notes, articles and analyses for our publication and online platforms
  • Doing telephone interviews/surveys with senior bankers
  • Providing data and analytical support for our industry research and consulting related projects
  • Developing and managing client contacts through networking, speaking engagements, industry events, press interviews and digital-content based research products.

Requirements

  • Possess a relevant degree (Masters preferred)
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills is a must.

Marketing Manager(Beijing/Manila)

The Role
We are currently focused on strengthening and expand our Marketing team in order to facilitate our planned growth for the coming years.

Reporting to the Marketing Team Head, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the marketing activities, to enable the marketing department to meet KPI targets, as well as general administrative support to the marketing department.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the relationships with business partners to coordinate and implement marketing activities such as adverts, emails, mailings, banners etc.
  • Carrying out research to actively promote The Asian Banker conferences on relevant websites ensuring all listings are live and up to date.
  • Designing and deploying email campaigns, for all of our conferences as well as organizing the data and tracking results.
  • Present extensive industry knowledge and identify new markets for growth
  • Demonstrate quality customer service and focus on building strong sustainable client relationships
  • Continuously be able to establish rapport in the industry

Programme Manager(Beijing)

Responsibilities:

  • Producing the agenda for top notch strategic conferences and meetingswith solid content and identification and management of highest-level industry speakers or resources for the major and minor conferences, forums and/or training products
  • Research current trends across all verticals in banking to generate content for the programmes
  • Identification and management of speakers or resources

Executive, Social Media (Based in Manila)

Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex language and ideas into useful and visually appealing digital, audience-focused formats (including social media, blogs, special landing pages, and web content).
  • Engage and work with marketing team to develop and distribute content to the social media community.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the organisations social media strategy, including the socialisation of online content (print and multimedia) and make recommendations for the effective use of existing and future platforms.
  • Maintain our social media channels by creating high-level, quality multimedia content crafted for engagement, brand standards and search engine optimisation.
