Joachim Oechslin appointed Credit Suisse CRO

Zurich, July 1st 2013 - Credit Suisse Group today announced that Joachim Oechslin will succeed Tobias Guldimann as Chief Risk Officer of Credit Suisse Group. Oechslin, currently Chief Risk Officer of Munich Re, will be appointed as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Risk Officer of Credit Suisse Group as of January 1, 2014. As of the same date Tobias Guldimann will take on the role of Head of Reputational Risk, Corporate Responsibility and Regulatory Policy.

Urs Rohner, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Credit Suisse, said: “The risk management function is of strategic importance for our industry and for Credit Suisse. We are very pleased that we have been able to ensure a smooth transition in the leadership of this critical function.”
