Emirates NBD Securities introduces eBrokerMobile trading application

Dubai, November 10th 2012 – Emirates NBD Securities announced the launch of “eBrokerMobile” the first approved Mobile Trading Application for UAE stock markets in order to provide investors with enhanced services and the opportunity to experience the latest technologies. The launch of this new application is part of Emirates NBD Securities’ continuous efforts towards making their customers’ investments and trading activities more accessible.

Mr. Abdulla Al Hosani, General Manager, Emirates NBD Securities said: “Mobile technology is a great tool for opening up trading opportunities for investors on the move and those who do not have access to other trading portals. We, at Emirates NBD Securities, are pleased to introduce our first iPhone app which will provide investors easy access to investment and trading facilities”.

The new app allows investors to be updated with the market trends and latest developments and gives them the opportunity to make smart investment decisions and execute trade transactions, wherever they are.

Al Hosani added, “Technology is evolving and is an indication for growth and therefore we will continue to innovate around alternative trading platforms in the future as well. Understanding investors’ requirements and aligning our products to best suit their needs is one of the integral values we strive to fulfill”.

Commenting on this development, Hassan Al Serkal, Executive Vice President, Head of Operations Division, Dubai Financial Market (DFM) said: “DFM strongly supports various brokerage firms in their efforts to provide investors with highly sophisticated services and the most proficient and flexible communication channels including online and mobile trading. Certainly, these services respond to the investors’ needs and make stock trading much easier from wherever they are. We are delighted to see such constructive efforts from Emirates NBD Securities as well as other DFM-licensed brokerage firms, and we have spared no effort to provide the necessary technical requirements in preparation for this service and look forward to see it achieving the desired interest from investors”.

Mr. Ghanem Al Dhaheri, Abu Dhabi Securities exchange’s Head of Information Technology also commented on this by saying “Launching this electronic platform to allow investors execute trades via smart phones is yet another valuable addition to the innovative set of services brokerage houses in the United Arab Emirates are known to offer. Downloading the new app will provide customers with instant access to the UAE stock markets such as Dubai Financial Market – DFM, Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange- ADX and NASDAQ Dubai. Key features of the app include access to market information, trading services, portfolio services and personal watch lists with real time prices.
