Claudia de Sanctis appointed Credit Suisse private banking market area head

Singapore, January 10th 2013 - Credit Suisse today announced that Claudio de Sanctis will join the Bank as Managing Director and Market Area Head, Southeast Asia for Private Banking Asia Pacific from April 1, 2013. He will be based in Singapore reporting to Francesco de Ferrari, Head of Private Banking Asia Pacific.

In this senior leadership role, Mr. de Sanctis will lead the Private Banking business in Southeast Asia, working closely with the respective Market Leaders in the Southeast Asian region. He will also focus on collaboration opportunities across Credit Suisse’s integrated bank to capitalize on the synergies and business opportunities in Southeast Asia, drive profitable business growth and advance market share.

Mr. de Sanctis was most recently Managing Director and Market Head Iberia and Nordics at UBS Wealth Management Europe. Prior to UBS, he was Head of Key Clients Unit Europe at Private Banking in Barclays focusing on UHNW clients and had also worked at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management EMEA region.
