Bangkok, July 2nd 2013 - The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has appointed Chanisa Chutipat as SET Executive Vice President and Head of Market Operation Division, overseeing overall post-trade services, trading operations, clearing house, securities depository, securities registration and provident fund registration, effective from July 1, 2013.
SET President Charamporn Jotikasthira said: "SET's Board of Governors promoted Chanisa Chutipat to be SET Executive Vice President and Head of Market Operation Division. She has been Senior Vice President, Head of Market Operation Division, since the beginning of 2013."
"Chanisa is a talented and skillful executive, with long experience in the capital market and SET group companies, including Settrade.com and Family Know-how. Before heading the Market Operation Division, she was responsible for the Finance, Human Resources, and Corporate Communications. We are confident that Chanisa will further develop and promote the sustained growth of SET post-trade and trading operations, increase SET's regional competitiveness, and better serve the demands of clients, including business and investors," Charamporn added.
Chanisa earned her MBA from Thammasart University, Bangkok. She joined The Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2001 and was Chief Executive Officer of Settrade.com Co., Ltd. during March 2004 - December 2008; Senior Vice President and Head of Finance & Corporate Services Division during January 2009 - December 2012. During that period, she was also Chief Executive Officer of Family Know-how Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of SET, and Senior Vice President and Head of Market Operation Division, replacing retiring Nongram Wongwanich, at the end of 2012.
Currently, Chanisa is also Managing Director of Thailand Securities Depository Co., Ltd. (TSD) and Thailand Clearing House Co., Ltd. (TCH), which are SET subsidiaries.
