BNM signs Letter of Cooperation with Alliance for Financial Inclusion

August 30th 2013 - Bank Negara Malaysia and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion signed a Letter of Cooperation today in Sasana Kijang, Kuala Lumpur, to establish a collaborative framework for capacity building targeted at policymakers and regulators around the world.

Under this initiative, Bank Negara Malaysia and the Alliance for Financial Inclusion will jointly design and implement structured capacity building programmes in relevant policy areas to strengthen financial inclusion efforts throughout the AFI Network’s 108 member institutions.

The Letter of Cooperation was signed by Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz, Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia and Dr. Alfred Hannig, Executive Director, Alliance for Financial Inclusion.
