Bahrain Islamic Bank Appoints Dalal AlQais as General Manager for Retail Banking

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) recently announced the appointment of Mrs. Dalal AlQais as the new General Manager of Retail Banking, effective October 03 2017.

Mrs. Dalal has over 15 years of experience in retail banking and held several key positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including: Credit Initiation Manager, Head of Priority Banking, Head of Distribution and Regional Channel and Call Center, Head of Integrated Distribution, and finally heading the Consumer Banking Division responsible over Bahrain, Qatar and Oman. Mrs. Dalal holds a Master’s degree in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Marketing.

On this occasion, Mr. Hassan Jarrar, BisB CEO stated, “in line with our internal strategy to continuously empower Bahraini women in leadership roles at the bank, we have recently appointed Mrs. Dalal for her extensive experience in Retail Banking to develop this sector.”

“Dalal is the first Bahraini woman to hold this position and will be a great support to the Bank’s management team and will enhance and develop the Bank’s Retail Banking growth plans, especially in the field of digital banking” added Mr. Jarrar.
