Agribank and SOFGEN deploy T24 R10 upgrade

Zimbabwe, November 7th 2012 – SOFGEN Holdings Limited (SOFGEN), an international provider of IT solutions for banks, has announced the successful deployment of Temenos T24 R10 at Agribank Zimbabwe. SOFGEN upgraded Agribank from GLOBUS G13 on Universe to T24 via full re-implementation.

The project comprised a full system audit, followed by comprehensive system reimplementation to effect the upgrade, interface development and customization, and in-depth training of Agribank staff. The SOFGEN team worked closely with Agribank developers as well as Temenos support teams to bring about a seamless transition within a successfully tight timeline.

“I salute the SOFGEN Team for the tremendous service and support that was rendered to us from start to finish,” said Clever Mpofu, Agribank Project Chairman. “This was the biggest project we have carried out to date and to say it went smoothly could be an understatement. The SOFGEN team was just marvelous. Even when we encountered challenges both Agribank and SOFGEN stood by each other and made lighter of any
challenge encountered.”
