Adyen validates integration with Oracle Hospitality

5 min read

Adyen, the global payments platform of choice for many of the world’s leading companies and a Gold level member of Oracle Partner Network (OPN), has announced it has achieved an Oracle Validated  Integration with Oracle Hospitality OPERA, the property management system for hospitality businesses. The integration utilizes the Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) and enables hotels across the world to benefit from Adyen’s payments platform without the need for a complex integration project.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers. The integration will help hotels, resorts, and property chains utilize a single solution worldwide to enhance the guest experience in multiple ways, with specialized payments features, including:

  • Built-in functionality for guests to transact in preferred currencies and/or with digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay) across all locations
  • Store payment details from the point of reservation (whether online or on premise) allowing guests to pay throughout a resort across different devices, including NFC enabled key cards and wearables
  • Support for convenient dining experiences such as split bills, pay-at-table, add tip or pay in a preferred currency, powered through Adyen’s integration with Oracle Hospitality Simphony
  • Compliance with the Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standard which reduces the risk of fraud by tokenizing payment at the time of reservation

“Hotels, resorts, and hospitality businesses are complex to run, with many different aspects of booking and payments to accommodate,” said Roelant Prins, Chief Commercial Officer, Adyen. “Combining Oracle Hospitality OPERA with our global payments platform creates an advantage for businesses looking to better their overall customer experience and make their guests stay as easy and relaxing as possible.”

”Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between Adyen’s payments platform and Oracle Hospitality OPERA is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said David Hicks, vice president, Worldwide ISV Cloud Business Development, Oracle.  “For solutions deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”
