ABN AMRO Private Banking announces senior management appointment

Hong Kong/ Singapore, March 13th 2013 - ABN AMRO Private Banking is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Pollock as Head of Private Banking North Asia per 13 May 2013. As a member of the Asia & Middle East Private Banking Management Team and the Hong Kong Country Management Team, Ian will be responsible for the management and further development of our private banking business in North Asia and will be based in Hong Kong.
Having spent the better part of his 30-year career in Hong Kong, Ian is a well known and respected executive in this region. He was most recently the CEO for VP Bank in Asia and has previously held senior regional management positions, including as Deputy CEO, COO and CFO, at Julius Baer, HSBC Private Bank and Republic National Bank of New York.

Ian succeeds Arjan de Boer, who has successfully led ABN AMRO's private banking business in North Asia for the past three years. Having been part of the bank's senior management in the region since late 2005, Arjan will now pursue a new senior opportunity within ABN AMRO’s global organisation, details of which will be announced in due course.
