Cao Heping has been invited to speak on the integration of the digital and real economy in China.He is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Economics at Peking Universityand chairman of Shenzhen Bay Area Institute of Digital Economy and Technology. He also servesas economic advisor for many provinces and tier1 cities. Professor Cao’s research interests includedigital economy and macroeconomics. In addition to numerous Chinese and English books that he authored, he also published articles in journals, including Social Sciences in China and Economic Research Journal, as well as Peking University Press and Oxford University. John Gong is a professor, researcherand expert in the fields of finance, international trade, antitrust, patent dispute and competition policies. He serves as anexpert consultant at the Ministry of Commerce’s Antitrust Bureau in China, and acted as the chief architect of the Bureau’s national competition database project. Meanwhile, he is serving as an academic affiliate with Global Economics Group, a leading global economics consulting firm based in the US. He is also the principal author for the China section of the policy position paper by the BRICS New World Bank’s steering committee during its foundation time. He is also a renowned op-ed columnist for several leading newspapers including the South China Morning Post, Global Times and China Global Television Network, on economic and political issues.

Robert Koopman has been invited to give the keynote speech on the international trade and global economic outlook as well as the realignment of globalisation in a post-pandemic world. He is the chief economist and director of the economic research and statistics division at the World Trade Organization. In this post, he provides the secretariat and member countries with analysis and information to deeply understand trade and trade policy's role in economic growth and development.Prior to this, Koopman served as the chief operating officer of the United States International Trade Commission (USITC), overseeing the Commission’s trade policy research and negotiation assistance to the President, the US Trade Representative and Congress.
