The Asia Pacific largest banks are ranked based on asset size of banks in the whole Asia Pacific region including the following countries: Australia, Bangalesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The Asia Pacific Largest Banks (Extended) list includes financial holding companies and the smaller banks that did not made it to the top 500 banks ranking by asset size.
