This week’s retail banking news includes ICICI Bank’s new credit card, Maybank Singapore’s mobile app, and Banco do Brasil’s head of retail banking.

ICICI Bank launches co-branded credit card with Jet Airways
India’s ICICI Bank has launched a co-branded credit card with Jet Airways. The cards will be offered in partnership with American Express and Visa, with JetPrivilege card members allowed to convert daily purchases to flying miles.

Maybank Singapore launches mobile banking service
Maybank Singapore has launched mobile banking service for iPhone customers. The app allows customers can now perform regular internet banking transactions such as account enquiries, bill payments and online funds transfers on their iPhones. It also enables customers to locate the nearest Maybank Branch or ATM and search for the latest promotions.

Banco do Brasil appoints head of retail banking
Brazil’s Banco do Brasil has named Paulo Roberto Lopes Ricci as SVP in charge of retail banking, distribution and credit operations. Ricci, 43, has worked at the government-owned bank for 28 years and was previously the lender's head of government relations.
